My Approach To Counseling
When we are faced with a crisis, we often feel helpless and lost. We can feel that we have no coping skills or tools to handle the crisis we are facing. Marriage and family counselors assist people uncover and rediscover coping tools they already have. Like a diligent art restorer, counselors help peel away the layers of grime encrusted on a fine painting. This work of restoration and reclamation thrives in the safe and sacred space which can exist between a counselor and the client.
I believe each person has the necessary tools to deal with any situation they confront. Because of this belief, I am committed to helping each person rediscover these tools so they can achieve a greater self awareness and well being.
